The HIOW Staff Support Hub is a place where staff and healthcare professionals across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight can access free, safe and confidential support separate from your organisation.
You can look for the support you need in the resources on the website or you can start a conversation by requesting contact from the HIOW Staff Support Hub Team using the website's ‘contact request form’.
This Website Policy describes how we collect and use your personal information when using this website.
What information do we collect from you?
Through our website we will collect personal data such as your first name, surname, email address and the organisation you are from. It is optional to whether you provide a telephone number and request a call back. If you are a manager and are looking for support for your team we will also ask you to let us know the team/shift/organisation you are from.
We will be processing this information with your consent only, under Article 6 of the General Data Protection Act - Lawful basis for processing; 6.1.a. the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one of more specific purposes.
Actively confirming you agree to the terms and conditions of the website and submitting a request for contact, is your consent.
Who might we share your information with?
Once you have consented to share and submit your information via the website contact form, your information will then be shared with the Staff Support Hub team via a secure email and the team can make contact with you.
If you change your mind about being contacted once you have submitted your request please contact us at hello@hiowstaff.nhs.uk.
How do we process your information?
Our Website and the personal information that you share and submit via the website form sent to us will be stored by Solent Mind (host provider Nasstar ISO Accreditation: ISO 27001:2013 Registration number: ZA261377). We have a contract with Solent Mind to ensure there are robust information security safeguards in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your personal confidential information in line with NHS Digital and other Government Standards, the Data Protection Act 2018/ General Data Protection Regulation 2018.
Access to both the website and your personal information is restricted at all times.
All team members of the HIOW Staff Support Hub team will have network login credentials as is appropriate to the task they are performing and are required to adhere to a confidentiality agreement as part of their employment contract with the Staff Support Hub and to comply with the security operating procedures relevant to their method of working. Any breach of these is treated seriously, and could result in disciplinary action, including dismissal.
How long do we keep your information?
Personal information will not be stored within the website itself.
The HIOW Staff Support Hub will only keep your personal details for as long as it is required in order to fulfil the relevant purposes already described in this Website Policy, or as otherwise communicated to you.
